Send Off

Not too long ago, I dropped my mom off at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. She is heading to Kenya and Tanzania for two weeks on a veterinarian-only safari and tour. I have no idea what she’ll be doing there, but I’m sure it will be an amazing experience.

Meanwhile, I am now sitting in Village Bagels, a cafe on the south end of Greenwich Avenue, one of the most expensive streets in one of the richest towns in the U.S. Julia should be getting out of her internship fairly soon, and when she does we are going to go shopping before making dinner at her house.

Here are a few photos from today.
